From his humble beginnings in East Los Angeles John Paul Dejoria built an empire. House of Blues, Patron Tequila, and of course, Paul Mitchell hair care products. How did he do it? By being the best boss in the world.

The grand opening of his new 200,000 square foot warehouse in Santa Clarita was a special occasion for many reasons. First, it marked the end of a spectacular year in which Paul Mitchell Systems hair care products soared to even greater heights. And second, it was the anniversary of Paul Mitchell's death. The loss of his business partner has had a dramatic effect on J.P. Dejoria, strengthening his commitment to excellence and his resolve to take care of the people who matter most. Since they began the goal of the company has been to remain an American company.   He could have relocated to another country but he thinks that in the long run when you do that we all lose. It may cost J.P. a little more to do business in Southern California but he hopes other companies will follow his lead and see that it is the only way to bring back our economy. J.P. and everyone at Paul Mitchell Systems pledges to do their part, one beautiful head of hair at a time.
