#9 THE BUCKET
A longstanding Eagle Rock hidden treasure, the Bucket is home to the most dangerous burger on the countdown: the Cardiac Burger. Not only is it stacked with deep-fried bacon, thick slabs of cheese and an ample hunk of ham, its two giant patties weigh in at over a pound. In the “I can’t believe I hate the whole thing” category, the Cardiac takes the blue ribbon every time.

#8 CASSELL’S
In an unadorned, inconspicuous location in Koreatown, Cassell’s consistently dishes up some of the best burgers in LA. Their secret is a patented double broiler designed by the original Mr. Cassell himself, back in the 40s. The broiler cooks simultaneously from top and bottom sealing in all the juicy goodness. Served up cafeteria-style, feel free to take as much of their trademark potato salad or condiments as you like.

A hangout for studio movers and shakers, Mo’s in Burbank is the perfect spot to pitch your next film. They offer over 20 different types of burgers including such off the wall accompaniments as caviar or peanut butter and jam. Our favorite is the Menage a Trois, a winning combination of bacon, avocado and swiss cheese. Every burger is dropped off at their famous burger bar so that you can lather on condiments to your liking.

During college he got a job washing dishes and waiting tables. As the years went on, he inherited the restaurant as well as the classic burger recipe that has lured so many customers over the years. Maintaining the highest quality ingredients and a firm grip on their secret recipes, Osborn runs a time capsule dedicated to an era before low-carb fad diets.
