NO. 4 SUTRA
Check out the O.C.'s hottest and sexiest new night spot...Sutra. Combining the best of a nightclub and fine dining, the menu here is just a little bit different...the cuisine features items that are purported to have aphrodisiac qualities- like oysters and special spices. We particularly liked the mini-chocolate souffles. And when you're done with dinner, hang out on some of Sutra's over-stuffed furniture, have a drink at one of the three bars, or head on out to the dance floor, where the real action is.

NO. 5 CITRINE
Citrine has only been open for 10 months, but already it's wowing diners with its warm ambience, retro-inspired decor, and incredible cuisine - we highly recommend the scallop appetizer. But our favorite part of the place is the open kitchen (not an area all restaurants are willing to show you), where Executive Chef Eric Ernest gives new meaning to the term dinner theater

BEST VALLEY RESTAURANT - BISTRO 45
A Pasadena favorite for fourteen years, Bistro 45 offers a warm, "casual elegant" atmosphere where everyone who walks through the door is considered a guest. The ambiance and service are given great consideration, but it's the menu that keeps this place packed. The food is considered "California French" -- we highly recommend the crusted ahi tuna.
By the way, Bistro 45 is not just our pick for a great place to eat. Conde Nast Traveler magazine just named it as one of the top 100 restaurants in the nation.
